[Consultations]

Leah Umansky is available for one-to-one consultations on business or freelance writing, on poetry, and/or flash fiction or creative nonfiction. This includes all stages of the writing process: brainstorming, drafting, writing, editing, polishing and submitting your work to journals, magazines, contests and prizes.

Another set of eyes, and hearing your work read in another voice, is always a good idea on new or old work that isn’t working or that you are unsure of.

A consultation is a great opportunity for growth and discovery in your writing.

What will you receive?

• Detailed comments and feedback

• If wanted, submission guidance about journals and contests ( where to submit, how to submit, how to keep track of your work, etc.)

• Overall one-on-one attention to encourage your best writing

How will you receive feedback?

Leah edits electronically with comments and tracking notes, and provides detailed suggestions via email.

Sessions will take place on Zoom.
